General Job Description:
The Customer Service Rep. is responsible for communications with internal and external customers in a professional, prompt, and effective manner including inquiries, processing orders, answering questions regarding orders, and handling customers’ complaints.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
- Knowledge of logistics and the trucking industry
- Understanding of industry terminology
- Strong Computer knowledge, including experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Google Mail
- Able to interact effectively via phone, in person, via email or Instant Messenger with internal departments and external contacts
- Customer Service focus
- Must be detail-oriented
- Ability to patiently communicate with internal and external customers
- Positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Effective communication, both written and verbal form
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills, comfort with analyzing data
- Must pass a background check and drug test
