The Lentus story begins in 1965, when Jim Hartlage, Lentus founder, embarked on his journey as a Lab Technician for Dow Corning in Elizabethtown, Ky. From his expertise and passion for quality, Jim later founded Accumetric in 1970, becoming the first authorized repackager of Dow Corning Silicone Sealants. In 2014, Jim sold Accumetric.
Dow Corning recognized Jim and his son, Jud Hartlage, Lentus’ current President, as invaluable partners. In 2011, Dow Corning proposed the opportunity to become the Master Distributor for Dow Corning Silicones.
Lentus was officially founded on July 1, 2012, marking the beginning of a new era. Since then, we’ve continued to uphold our founding principles of quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction, earning the trust of businesses and industries across North America.
